Privacy Policy
The SyncMusic Privacy Commitment in Brief
Your music & DJ mic packets stay strictly on your local Wi-Fi / Hotspot.
No advertising identifiers, no behavioral telemetry, no cross-app tracking.
Listen and host without creating an account or providing personal info.
1. Information We Do NOT Collect
SyncMusic is designed as a local-first peer-to-peer (P2P) networking tool. Because all audio processing, clock synchronization, and playback occur directly between connected devices over your local area network (LAN) or Mobile Hotspot:
- We do NOT capture, record, or transmit your audio files (MP3, WAV, FLAC, etc.) to any server.
- We do NOT store or upload your microphone voice transmissions.
- We do NOT collect device GPS coordinates, contacts, photos, or browsing history.
- We do NOT use third-party behavioral tracking or ad network SDKs.
2. Device Permissions and How They Are Used
To provide low-latency synchronized audio and rave features, SyncMusic requests specific platform permissions:
Required to discover nearby party hosts and broadcast NTP clock synchronization packets across connected speakers without internet.
Used exclusively when you activate the live DJ microphone feature. Audio is converted to PCM packets in volatile RAM and broadcast to local guests. Audio is never saved to disk or transmitted to the cloud.
Camera access is used solely to scan the host's on-screen QR code for instant connection. Flashlight access is used for beat-synchronized rave strobe light effects.
Used only to allow the host to select audio files from device storage to broadcast to the party mesh.
3. Subscriptions & Payment Data
If you purchase a SyncMusic Pro subscription (Weekly, Monthly, or Annual):
- All subscription purchases and license payments are processed securely through Razorpay.
- SyncMusic never stores or has access to your full credit card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or bank credentials.
4. Anonymous Crash Diagnostics (Optional)
To maintain application stability across thousands of Android and iOS hardware configurations, we may receive anonymized crash traces (such as OS version, device model, and stack traces) via standard operating system diagnostics. These diagnostics contain no personally identifiable information (PII) or audio payloads.
5. GDPR & CCPA Compliance
Because SyncMusic operates on a decentralized, local-first paradigm without collecting personal profiles, user data is inherently protected under GDPR and CCPA standards. You have complete control over your files and connections at all times.
